When Greta Van Fleet goes on tour, it’s a special event. This band has a history of going hard for a year or two at a time before taking a slower year to prep some hot new tracks for their fans. For example, their first concert was held in 2013. After that, they took 2014-15 off and held another concert in 2016.
But then the band took off in 2017 following the release of their first EP. And they had 58 stunning concert performances in that year. The band then outdid that record with 121 concerts in 2018 and 86 in 2019. These concerts included legendary performances in Washington DC’s Terminal Five on November 30, 2018 and at Denmark’s KB Hallen on November 18, 2019.
The following year was a slow one for Greta Van Fleet, as they only had 2 concert appearances. But fans would later guess that the band was taking it easy while working hard on their second studio album that was released in 2021.
Following that release, the band hit the touring scene once again. And even though concert appearances were temporarily halted during the height of the pandemic, they went on from 13 concerts in 2021 to over 90 concerts scheduled for the 2022 season.
This tells us that Greta Van Fleet is a band that wants to bring their best work to the stage. So when they have a busy tour schedule, fans can expect recent hits and possible brand new music. It’s that classic rock style that has made this band famous!
